That is not the way to do it

The easiest way is to create a motion tween from 20 blur to 0 blur. that way it automatically figures out how much to blur the object each frame + it is less tedious

Okay glad someone said this. first you would have to shape not motion and plus you can olny add filters to a button MC or text. None of those you can shape tween.
